What is this all about?
Join us for a wonderful morning bike ride
We raise money primarily for the South Coast Interfaith Council in Long Beach, but also for the participating faith communities. We encourage interfaith dialogue and fellowship before, during, and after the ride, enjoying and experiencing the peoples and the planet created by our creator.

Bike Route
We start at DeForest Park in Long Beach at 7:30 AM. Down the Los Angeles River Bikeway.
Hit the scenic beach trail. Go as far as you like as you make new friends. Some of us make it all the way to what used to be the Belmont Pool, about 12.5 miles. Then head back the way you came. Get something to eat back at the park before you say goodbye to your new friends. |
The route is just about all flat, with ups and downs as we go underneath the overpasses on the bikeway. Once we get to the beach it is all flat. So don't worry about hilly terrain.
Here is a general description of the trip:

Hope you make it this far. Wherever you are, at 9:45 turn around and go back to De Forest Park.
Here is our starting place: DeForest Park, 6225 De Forest Ave, Long Beach, CA 90805 at the northern end.
We've been doing this since 2008
